Job description

The corporate office at The Menta Education Group is located at 2471 W Sullivan Rd, Aurora, IL 60506.

Standard Operating Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday

As a Compliance Data Specialist at The Menta Education Group, you will join a collaborative team of regulatory and business professionals dedicated to upholding the highest standards of data integrity. Your primary mission is to act as the steward of our Restraint and Time Out (RTO) compliance data, ensuring every record is accurate, compliant, and submitted to all designated recipients on time.

In addition to the primary responsibility of RTO regulatory compliance, this role will gradually incorporate essential support to the Workers’ Compensation and Insurance Program (WCIP) team. Supporting the WCIP team will include assisting with claims administration and risk data. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on statutory accuracy but appreciates the variety of supporting broader business operations.

Required: Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Human Resources Management, Office Technology, OR a related field.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Mangage: Restraint and Time Out (RTO) compliance data
  • Data Stewardship: conduct rigorous quality control reviews of RTO forms to ensure every field meets strict internal and ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) standards before submission.
  • Regulatory Submission: Manage the accurate and timely entry of verified RTO data into the ISBE Student Information System (SIS), and internal tracking databases.
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain impeccable digital and physical files, ensuring the organization is perpetually prepared for internal or state-level compliance audits.
  • Correction Coordination: Act as the liaison between corporate administration and school sites, communicating with care and clarity to request necessary corrections on documentation.
  • Timeline Monitoring: Enforce strict statutory notification deadlines to ensure parents, partner districts, and ISBE are informed of events within the legally required 24-hour window.
Support Responsibilities
  • Workers’ Compensation and Insurance Program (WCIP) Support: Assist the Risk Management team with the administrative aspects of Worker's Compensation claims and documentation as capacity permits.
  • General Liability: Provide data entry support for vehicle accident reports and other liability claims to assist the business office.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the business office with other HR and administrative and data entry responsibilities
Qualifications
  • Required: Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Human Resources Management, Office Technology, OR a related field.
  • Required: Exceptional attention to detail; the ability to identify specific errors in complex government regulatory forms is the most critical skill for this role.
  • Required: Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Required: Ability to prioritize time-sensitive regulatory deadlines while managing auxiliary support tasks.
  • Preferred: Prior experience with the ISBE Student Information System (SIS) or similar state reporting platforms.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with insurance documentation or administrative office support.
