Job summary

MFS is seeking a motivated student for a six-month Co-op in the Corporate Compliance Group in Boston. You will help develop content for our Global program— trainings, intranet, emails, and presentations—working with a small team of managers to bring content together, research, and summarize policies.

The role emphasizes clear writing, translating complex topics into concise concepts, and leveraging approved AI tools to elevate work product.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a communications-related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must have solid writing skills and the ability to break down complex topics into clear concepts.
Ability to take initiative, utilize resources, and communicate effectively.
Commitment to learning, creativity, and critical thinking.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience and interest in leveraging approved AI tools to elevate work product.
Strong Microsoft skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

Write, review, and edit copy for intranet internal emails, presentations, and training materials for Compliance workshops.
Interact with people from different departments within Compliance as well as Marketing to summarize key policies and initiatives.
Maintain and organize records in collaboration with Managers to ensure accuracy.
Perform research as needed.
