Job summary

PeopleReady in San Angelo, TX seeks a Compliance Checker to help monitor store staff for proper age verification and pricing practices. You will verify that IDs are requested before quoting prices, and you will document results via email reports and secure reporting portals after each visit.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with routine field visits, have access to a vehicle, and can maintain attention to detail while ensuring compliance with age-restriction rules. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Must be individuals between the age of 21 to 25 where businesses will ask for identification to prove legal age for purchasing alcohol and tobacco items to ensure compliance.
• Candidates must have a vehicle to complete assigned routes

Responsibilities

• Monitor store employees to ensure they ask for the customer's ID before quoting a price
• If the ID is requested, the employee receives a Green Card; if not, a Red Card is given
• Check if store employees use age-verification devices if available
• Partake in regular visits to ensure proper use of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and age-verification devices
• Send an email report to the store's management after each visit
• Archive visit results in a password-protected reporting website
• View sample reports

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Compliance Checker:
