PeopleReady in Davenport, IA is hiring Compliance Checkers to visit stores in IA/IL, monitor age-verification practices and ID procedures, and report results via a secure website after each visit.

You will drive between locations, verify cashiers' handling of alcohol and tobacco, assign red or green cards, and document findings on a mobile device. Shift options include 1st shift and weekends, with next-day pay.

Competenze

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady.
• Must be in an age range where businesses will ask for identification to prove legal age for purchasing alcohol and tobacco items to ensure compliance.
• Candidates must have a vehicle to complete assigned routes.
• Will be checking to see if cashier or server cards you with alcohol or tobacco sales.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18/ hour* + .40/mile gas allowance

What you'll be doing as a Compliance Checker:

• Monitor store employees to ensure they ask for the customer's ID before quoting a price
• If the ID is requested, the employee receives a Green Card; if not, a Red Card is given
• Check if store employees use age-verification devices if available
• Partake in regular visits to ensure proper use of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and age-verification devices
• Send an email report to the store's management after each visit
• Archive visit results in a password-protected reporting website
• View sample reports
• Will be driving to different locations in IA/IL as a secret shopper to try to buy alcohol and tobacco products according to customer direction
