Job summary

Polymer Capital Management seeks a Compliance Associate to join its US compliance team in Midtown, NY. The role is hands-on, requires independence, and focuses on daily surveillance, regulatory support, training, and advisory duties within a multi‑manager hedge fund platform.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of relevant experience, a solid grasp of US regulations, and the ability to coordinate with trading, legal, and portfolio teams.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities to engage front office stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with compliance or trading systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and enhancing the firm’s compliance program per SEC/CFTC/NFA regulations.
• Perform daily, monthly, and ad hoc surveillance and monitoring (trade surveillance, e‑communications, PAD reviews, watch lists).
• Support Form ADV updates, regulatory filings, and periodic reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with trading, capital markets and legal on deal-related restrictions and wall-crossing procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trade compliance checks and assist in due diligence.
• Assist in incident management, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
