Holland America Line/Princess in Alaska seeks a Program Manager, Compliance & Infrastructure to oversee permitting and compliance for water, wastewater, and regulated systems across lodges and employee housing. You’ll manage contractors, review design and engineering, and lead cost estimation and budgeting for capital projects such as fire safety and utilities renovations.

We’re looking for aProgram Manager, Compliance & Infrastructureprofessional to fill this role, which is based in either Fairbanks, AK or Denali National Park, AK.You’llbe responsible foroverseeingpermittingrelated to water,wastewaterand other critical areas of compliance at our lodges and employee housing facilities.This role involves managing and auditing processes and policies through theassistanceof outside contractors,consultantsand compliance specialists. The ProgramManager, Compliance& Infrastructure will work closely with operations, safety/complianceand other team members toensurebusiness needs and regulatory compliance are considered and met. This position will also manage a portfolio of construction projects that involve highly regulated systems such as fire sprinkler systems, water and wastewatertreatmentplantrenovations,and kitchen hoods.

Coordinate and communicate with team members, operations sitemanagement,engineers, consultants,contractorsand regulatory agencies toensurecompliance.
Submit data, Monitor, review, and obtain permits and licenses necessary tomaintainregulatory compliance and support projectexecution.
Develop project scope documents,solicitingnecessary engineering and design, reviewing design and engineering,writingandsubmittingRFP's, soliciting and reviewingbids.
Review on-site project status and scope/quality confirmation, reviewing and approving change orders, reviewing and approving field changes,coordinatingand leading punchwalks.
Review project bids and cost estimates,identifyingvalue engineering opportunities, reviewing invoices, estimating future capital project costs, budgetingpermitsandfees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
5years’ experiencemanaging or supervising construction projects involvingmultipletrades in Alaska.Experience reading and understanding engineering reports, design documents, construction drawings, state and federal rules,codesandregulations.
Proficient inuseof Microsoft computer business applications.CAD experience preferred.
Understanding ofcurrent UBC/IBC, OSHA and state of Alaska fire marshal requirements and regulations.
Qualified to drive company light-duty vehicles.
Technicalgrasp of public civil and utilitysystems.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visasat this time(e.g., H-1B status).
Scope: Lodges, employee housing, commercial kitchens and restaurants, Site civil, communications, water andwastewater, and electrical and other utility systems at Alaska and Yukonproperties.
Involves complex analysis of data & information, research, and anticipation of challenges that may have an impact onthe businessand regulatory compliance.
This role willimpactsafety and compliance, guest service and employee satisfaction throughout Alaska and theYukon.
Requireshigh levelof skill to collaborate between divisions,lodgesand departments to arrive at facility and equipment projects and solutions that are compliant, beneficial to safety, guestserviceand operations.Requires leading diverse project teams that include team members, outside contractors,vendorsandconsultants.
