Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join the Compliance Technology team within the Platform organization. You will build and own end-to-end data pipelines powering compliance detection, partnering with Compliance, Product, and Engineering to ensure signals are reliable and auditable.

You will drive data quality, standardize instrumentation, and translate control requirements into scalable data structures, collaborating across cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data-heavy roles.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data quality discipline.
• Experience delivering end-to-end data pipelines in regulated contexts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain curated datasets and data models powering compliance controls.
• Own data quality, validation, lineage, and audit-readiness for datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering and Compliance to close upstream data gaps.
• Improve detection signal quality while maintaining appropriate sensitivity.
• Implement measurement frameworks and reusable reporting for leaders and auditors.
