The Compliance Analyst II work closely with the Compliance and Internal Audit Team to support the mission of the Ensemble Compliance Program through the execution of compliance investigations and resulting corrective actions.

Responsibilities:
Investigates and coordinates responses to internal and external inquiries / investigations for potential breaches and actual violations of the Ensemble Compliance Program
Enter and update all reported concerns, questions and incidents regarding compliance matters in the Compliance Department incident management system and compile statistical and status reports, as requested.
Communicates effectively, both written and verbal, to department leadership, associates and clients regarding concerns, incidents and investigations as appropriate.
Provides support to departments in correcting compliance issues and completion of required disciplinary actions with associates involved in compliance program policy violations.
Provide guidance and support of all organizational compliance programs and applications, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Serve as subject matter expert in assigned areas within revenue cycle. Assist with answering questions, training, and education of new hires and with completing ad hoc requests and respond to escalations as assigned by direct supervisor.
Assists Vice President, Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer to perform an internal risk assessment, to proactively identify weaknesses compliance safeguards.
C ollaborates with appropriate team members or departments on revisions to Compliance policies and ensures educational dissemination of new or revised policies across the organization.
Maintains current knowledge of Federal and State Compliance, and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing.
Assist with updates and maintain system administrator level access for Policy Management Systems, Compliance and Privacy Incident Management Systems and other systems as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer.
Effectively communicate compliance concerns to Compliance leadership, and operational leaders to provide timely notification to business unit management of statutory, regulatory or policy change.
Experience We Love:
3 to 5 Years of previous experience
Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, and billing
Prior compliance experience
Outstanding analytical, reporting, and communication skills
EPIC, Cerner, etc. solution knowledge preferable; Preferred coding and/or audit experience in Coding
Coding certification
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
Required Cer tif ications:
CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or other approved job relevant certification.
