Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Compliance Analyst to serve as project manager for secondary market QC audits, coordinate with First Community Mortgage and third parties, and maintain QC reporting. The role requires a strong command of regulatory requirements and excellent communication.

You will conduct HMDA data reviews, support the Compliance Management Framework, prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and help develop training materials and policies.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years previous bank experience required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, attention to detail, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to various work environments and project schedules.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with all levels of personnel.
• Must pass background investigation according to company policy.

Responsibilities

Essential/Primary Job Duties:

• Serve as the project manager for secondary market quality control (QC) audits to include administrative tasks related to the resolution of discrepancies and maintenance of all QC audit reporting
• Maintain ongoing and effective communication with First Community Mortgage personnel and related third parties to ensure timely processing and reporting for secondary market QC audits
• Perform monthly or quarterly quality control reviews of HMDA data and serve as backup for initial monthly HMDA validation
• Conduct monitoring to support the Compliance Management Framework, including but not limited to, gathering appropriate work papers, selecting samples, reviewing internal programs against regulatory requirements and identifying issues, making proper recommendations, and providing timely reporting and follow-up
• Prepare and maintain compliance lending reporting to include weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
• Maintain department reporting to categorize consumer compliance topics for which advisement/research has been provided, outside of monitoring projects
• Provide timely status and reporting updates to designated manager
• Assist with preparation of Compliance Committee; including development of meeting minutes
• Successfully utilize all compliance software
• Assist with developing business unit specific training materials
• Assist with developing, maintaining and revising the Bank s compliance policies and procedures
• Review, develop, and update materials for projects assigned by the applicable manager
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the business units
• Prepare and compile data for applicable audits/examinations
• Provide support to other staff members
• Travel as necessary
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a sitting or standing in stationary position for extended periods of time
• Require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing on an electronic keyboard
• Operate a computer and other office machinery for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds
