Job summary

GEO Secured Services in the United States seeks a Compliance Administrator at ICE facilities to supervise compliance and accreditation activities. You will develop, maintain, and revise assessment tools, generate management reports, and communicate rules across the facility.

You will partner with department managers to achieve compliance, lead audits, train staff, and ensure timely responses to inquiries; you will supervise the Compliance Auditors and support the Quality Control Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with three (3) years experience in corrections, law enforcement, or related capacity.
• Experience in compliance, accreditation, and quality management is highly desirable.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to employees at all levels.
• May be required to travel.
• Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Must be able to evaluate compliance with regulations, accreditation policies and procedures by reviewing and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Ability to write reports and summaries in a cohesive and concise manner.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Review all facility operations to identify compliance issues and document findings with recommendations for improvement.
• Develop effective instruments to determine departmental compliance.
• Meet with managers to verify area compliance and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Interpret and apply compliance and accreditation policies for the organization and clients.
• Conduct audits and prepare reports highlighting findings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with a liaison role to ensure timely responses to inquiries from partners and the public.
• Support the organization’s Quality Control Program (QCP) and supervise auditors.
• Maintain all databases and paper documentation for compliance programs.
