Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Compliance Auditor to oversee day-to-day quality control for verification of compliance across facility operations. You will ensure adherence to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements within established timeframes.

In this role you will perform daily reviews, lead periodic audits, gather information for ACA and healthcare standards, and deliver monthly written and verbal reports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three (3) years' progressive experience in the compliance/auditing field.
• Must be able to prepare for audits by researching materials and formulating a plan of action.
• Ability to evaluate compliance with regulations, accreditation policies, and procedures by reviewing records and supporting documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present to staff and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Daily compliance reviews of facility departments.
• Periodic accreditation audits of the facility.
• Collects information for ACA, health care services, and other standards.
• Provides monthly reports as requested.
• Develops reports summarizing audit results and conducts informational presentations to staff.
• Maintains database of compliance and accreditation audits.
• Keeps up-to-date resources, standards, and requirements for operations.
• Assists management in revising policies to ensure compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
