Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager for Complex Gas Turbine Modernization & Upgrades to drive high-value customer projects from planning through closeout. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex projects in power generation, energy, or a similar industrial environment.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and contract deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong technical, financial, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving project execution.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).

  • Lead complex Gas Turbine Modernization & Upgrades projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring delivery meets scope, schedule, and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive project execution and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance while identifying and addressing risks before they impact delivery.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, providing project updates, managing expectations, and supporting issue resolution.
  • Track critical materials, schedules, and deliverables to ensure smooth project execution and successful outage planning.
  • Drive technical issue resolution by partnering with subject matter experts and field teams to maintain project progress.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, contract deliverables, and status reporting using SAP and project management tools.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex projects in power generation, energy, or a similar industrial environment; PMP certification preferred.

  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and contract deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Strong technical, financial, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving project execution and resolving challenges.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customer and stakeholder relationships.

  • Proficiency with SAP and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
