Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal provides comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities. This role requires strong organization, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
- Organize and maintain case files and ensure documents are accurately filed.
- Maintain case management databases and track deadlines.
- Assist with witness and evidence preparation for trial.
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
- Summarize depositions, interrogatories, medical records, and testimony.
- Attend trials and provide on-site support to attorneys as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of Paralegal experience, specifically on the Plaintiff side.
- Ability to work full-time in-office.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a file with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive subject matter with discretion and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
