Job summary

Legacy Ventures is seeking a Complex Human Resources Director for Holiday Inn Express Corpus Christi to drive recruitment, onboarding and development across assigned hotels. The CHRD will deliver positive team relations, ensure HR administration is accurate, and align HR functions with company beliefs.

Dual reporting to hotel General Managers and Corporate HR will guide strategic execution. The role encompasses coaching, performance management, workforce planning, benefits administration,

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and supports management through HR related focus areas: recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, professional development, performance management.
• Develops a cost-effective recruitment plan utilizing resources such as i-enroller, LinkedIn, social media, and other resources.
• Creates and supports internship programs including J-1 visa students and those from local colleges or universities.
• Conducts thorough, timely onboarding and orientation of all team members.
• Champions employee learning and development by coaching, mentoring and developing people for increased responsibilities.
• Coordinates and executes company performance review process
• Supports and guides property leaders through coaching/counseling and discipline process
• Oversees payroll processing and benefits administration
• Manages team member relations and recognizes programs.
