University of California, Davis Health System is seeking a full-time Complex Family Planning Specialist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The role includes 50% complex FP and 50% general obstetrics/gynecology, with duties on the Sacramento health campus and contracted regional sites.

The candidate will mentor residents and fellows, participate in a fellowship/ residency training program, and may engage in family planning research.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Clinical care specializing in Complex Family Planning required.
• Applicants must be completing or have completed a Complex Family Planning Fellowship.
• Clinical experience in family planning with formal research training (Fellowship/ MPH/ PhD or equivalent).
• California Medical License or eligibility required.
• Experience training fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a diverse academic environment.

Responsabilités

• Clinical work split ~50% complex family planning and ~50% general obstetrics/gynecology.
• Oversee medical students, residents, and fellows; provide mentorship in residency/fellowship.
• Travel to local/regional contracted sites for complex FP services.
• Required call coverage includes in-house obstetric call and at-home back-up call.
