LHH in South Florida is seeking a Mid-Level Complex Commercial Litigation Associate to join its team of highly experienced partners and represent prominent clients across industries. The role offers exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes matters and significant client interaction.

You will manage all phases of litigation, draft dispositive motions, oversee discovery, and participate in hearings and trial preparation. Collaboration with partners and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Licensed and in good standing in Florida.
• 3–6 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a reputable law firm.
• Significant experience handling matters in state and federal court.
• Strong writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery.
• Exceptional communication and client management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dismissals, summary judgment, and discovery motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, memoranda, and client communications.
• Oversee fact and expert discovery, depositions, and e-discovery matters.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial prep.
• Develop case strategy and collaborate with partners and clients on high-value disputes.
• Collaborate with litigation teams and contribute to business development initiatives.
