Job summary

The Zachry Group is seeking a Quality Completions Inspector for our Freeport, TX site. You will conduct systems completion walk downs and support completions on punch lists, walk downs, and engineering changes to ensure field work aligns with drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a journeyman in industrial construction, with 2-3 years in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas, and experience with completions databases and Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years journeyman experience in industrial construction.
• 3+ years industrial construction experience.
• 2-3 years in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas.
• Familiar with completions databases and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk down systems and subsystems for completeness and identify discrepancies.
• Identify field installed vs drawing differences.
• Verify completed punch list items.
• Participate in client and commissioning walk downs.
