Job summary

Teal Energi seeks an experienced Completions Advisor to support a critical Gulf of Mexico completions campaign from early September through November. You will serve on the Wellsite Team, guiding completion and intervention designs, planning, and execution with safety and budget in mind.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in GOM deepwater, and strong experience in sand control, gravel pack, subsea completions, and tubing design, with proven vendor and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Gulf of Mexico deepwater experience.
• Strong knowledge of sand control completions, gravel pack design, subsea completions, tubing design.
• Experience with offshore completion operations and Gulf regulations.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Must pass background screening and drug testing; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support completion and intervention activities for Gulf of Mexico assets.
• Provide engineering support for sidetrack well programs.
• Design and plan completions for stacked frac-and-pack operations.
• Support future subsea re-entry and sidetrack planning activities.
• Interface with subsurface and production teams to ensure completion designs meet objectives.
• Manage interfaces across drilling, facilities, production, and subsurface teams.
• Develop completion and intervention programs prioritizing safety, efficiency, schedule, and cost.
• Lead risk assessments, peer reviews, and hazard analyses.
• Manage vendors and service providers for accountability and budgets.
• Track project performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and safety.
• Communicate with offshore personnel, office stakeholders, contractors, and project teams.

Our client is an international energy company with Offshore Gulf of Mexico (GoM) operations spanning the full value chain of exploration and production. They are seeking an experienced Completions Advisor to support a critical completions campaign anticipated to begin in early September.

This individual will serve as a key member of the Wellsite Team, supporting both short and long-term planning efforts while overseeing execution of completion and intervention programs. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and vendor management experience.

Required Qualifications

• Must pass background screening and drug testing requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
• Experience managing completion or drilling projects in a lead capacity.
• Strong mentoring and team collaboration skills.

Additionally, the employee should demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for using tools, operating machinery, and executing intricate tasks. Furthermore, employee must be able to use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment. Effective communication, both orally and telephonically, is essential. Successful candidates must exhibit specific vision abilities of close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
