Job summary

Complete Playground in New York City seeks a friendly Associate to be the face of the front desk, greet families, handle admissions, process payments, and guide guests through policies and safety rules. You will help maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment on the playground floor and assist with event check-ins.

The role requires organization, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting. Experience with children is favored, and weekend/holiday availability is a plus.

We provide a safe, inclusive environment for kids of all neurodiverse backgrounds, including a top-notch sensory space designed to help children relax and recharge.

Overview: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and versatile individual to join our team as an Associate. In this role, you will be called upon to be the face of Complete Playground at the front desk, as well as ensuring a safe, high-energy environment working and maintaining the playground floor. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able maintain a welcoming atmosphere for children and families; while seamlessly troubleshooting issues as they come up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Admissions/Front Desk: Greet families with a warm demeanor, manage check-ins, process payments, and handle admissions for play sessions, classes, and special events.
• Maintain an organized front desk, which includes restocking items, and some light cleaning duties like wiping counters and sweeping floor.
• Communication/Front Desk: Answer phone calls and emails regarding facility hours, services, and policies; provide clear guidance to guests regarding safety rules and sensory space usage.
• Event Support/Front Desk: Assist with bookings, scheduling, and check-ins for birthday parties and private events.
• Playground Supervision/Floor: Oversee the play areas to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, monitoring equipment and enforcing rules to prevent unsafe behavior.
• Facility Maintenance/Floor: Organize and tidy all playground areas, reporting any maintenance issues and ensuring the facility remains a clean, vibrant environment at all times. This can include light cleaning duties.
• Safety & Support: Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents in accordance with company policies and handle customer feedback or concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless experience for every family.
