University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Medicine – Division of Rheumatology, seeks an Exsera BioLabs professional to join a dynamic laboratory on the Aurora campus. This entry-to-intermediate role involves performing tests that directly impact patient care and supporting lab operations in a collaborative environment.

The position emphasizes strict adherence to protocols, quality results, and ongoing process improvements, with growth opportunities in a high-impact clinical research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field is required at entry level.
• Bachelor’s degree is required at the intermediate level; one year of professional diagnostic or research experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred; two years of lab experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Utilize laboratory techniques, perform testing, and provide quality results impacting patient care.
• Support analytical testing processes including sample collection, preparation, and documentation of results.
• Prepare lab for daily operations: stock materials, ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Dispose of laboratory materials following established guidelines.
• Review testing worksheets and related materials; ensure accuracy.
• Assist in policy reviews and implementation to meet regulatory and operational needs.
• Assist in creating processes and quality improvement initiatives with Team Leads and management.
