Job summary

The Italiano - Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Broiler Cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will master broiled and grilled preparations, ensure consistent quality, and work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional plates.

Ideal candidates have prior broiler/line cook experience, strong cooking knowledge, and a commitment to food safety. Culinary training is a plus, and a valid Food Handler Card is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Broiler Cook, Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and procedures.
• Experience cooking meats to proper temperatures and specifications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
• Current Food Handler Card.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including meats, vegetables, sauces, and other menu components.
• Cook menu items according to company recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Execute broiled and grilled items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and culinary team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Keep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs.
• Ensure all food is prepared and plated correctly while maintaining ticket times.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
