Job summary

Stratton, Vermont seeks a Competition Venue Staff member to support world‑class venues for training and events. Seasonal part‑time and occasional opportunities exist; compensation is $20.00/hr. Recruitment for this role will continue through December.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include preparing venues for training, building and tearing down race and event venues, and maintaining safety, guest rapport, and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Membership in US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA recommended.
• Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid and CDC Heads Up Concussion required.
• Ski or snowboard at an expert level.
• Experience with signage, fencing, and racing gates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare venues as needed for training.
• Build, maintain, and tear down all race, competition and event venues.
• Maintain excellent guest and employee rapport and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain appropriate asset protection and inventory control.
• Supervise training venues to ensure safety while athletes are training.
• Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Competition Venue Staff position supports Stratton competition athletes through the creation and maintenance of world-class venues for training and events. There are seasonal part-time and occasional opportunities available. The compensation for this role is $20.00hr Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership, recommended.
• Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid and CDC Heads Up Concussion, required.
• Ski or snowboard at an expert level
• Previous experience working with signage, fencing, and racing gates
• Knowledge and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulations
• Previous experience maintaining venues in accordance with criteria set by US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA, recommended
• US Ski and Snowboard officials credential or higher, recommended (required for timing and race administration roles)
