Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado's Crested Butte area is hiring for winter 2026/27. Join our Alpine/Ski & Ride School to deliver high-quality instruction, ensure safety, and coach athletes of all ages in a dynamic mountain environment.

Qualifications

• PSIA/USSS/FIS Level 200 or equivalent certification.
• High School or Equivalent Education.
• Attend Ski and Ride training sessions.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Ability to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment.

Responsibilities

• Uphold guest and personal safety on varied terrain at high altitude.
• Instruct skiing levels clearly and safely to students.
• Match athletes to appropriate skill levels and adjust with supervision.
• Assist guests in loading/unloading the chairlift.
• Communicate instructions and assist athletes during training and competitions.
