Job summary

Colorado Judicial Branch is seeking a Competency Court Coordinator to manage the administrative functions and workflow of competency court programs. You will coordinate referrals, evaluations, and stakeholder communications, ensuring effective collaboration across teams and adherence to procedures.

The role may supervise staff, lead data collection and policy development, and support program evaluations with the State Court Administrator’s Office. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public or court administration, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in criminal justice, mental health, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings in conjunction with competency court dockets and related programs.
  • Lead data collection, policy development, and accurate record-keeping for competency programs.
  • Manage local steering committees and communications among service providers.
  • Inform the court on participant qualifications for related programs.
  • Collaborate with the State Court Administrator’s Office for evaluations, trainings, and program success.
  • Write and manage grants and budgets to support resources for clients and courts.
  • Coordinate MOUs, policies, and procedures for competency programs.
