Job summary

Replit is seeking a senior leader to architect the compensation engine, shaping salary bands, equity structures, and AI-enabled workflows. You will partner with People, Recruiting, Finance, and Data teams to embed compensation into company processes, reducing manual work and enabling scalable, fair decisions.

You will design and implement workflows for offers, merit cycles, promotions, and market adjustments, while building dashboards to track competitiveness and internal equity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in compensation, total rewards, or related analytical roles, ideally at a high-growth tech company.
• Deep expertise in salary bands, equity design, and market benchmarking (broad-based, sales, and executive).
• Strong systems thinker who can translate policy into scalable workflows and decision logic.
• Product mindset — you think in terms of users, workflows, and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve compensation philosophy across cash and equity, maintain salary bands and leveling frameworks.
• Partner with Finance on cost and workforce planning to ensure market competitiveness.
• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for offers, merit, promotions, and market adjustments.
• Build dashboards and analytics for market competitiveness, internal equity, retention risk, and workforce cost.
