Job summary

Moderna is seeking an Associate Director, Compensation to design and drive compensation programs that attract, retain and motivate talent globally. You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leaders to ensure pay practices are equitable, competitive, and scalable.

You’ll lead market benchmarking, advise on job architecture, oversee global planning cycles, and leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of compensation planning, benchmarking, and policy execution.
• Experience advising stakeholders across HR and business on compensation decisions.
• Familiarity with job architecture frameworks and compensation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee market benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation.
• Lead Global Pay Equity design, compliance, analysis, and adjustments.
• Advise on job leveling framework and career progression across the organization.
• Oversee global compensation planning cycles, salary increases, bonus structures, and equity programs.
• Develop enterprise-wide compensation programs and communications for transparency.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve compensation analyses and reporting.
• Partner with Legal for compliance of programs and future design changes.
• Provide training to Talent Acquisition on compensation philosophies and offers.
