Moderna is seeking a Senior Director, Executive Compensation to lead the design, governance, and administration of the company's executive pay programs. This role partners with Legal, Finance, HR, and external advisors to ensure competitive, compliant, and shareholder-aligned compensation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive executive compensation experience; minimum 12 years for publicly traded company.
• Strong knowledge of executive compensation design, governance, proxy disclosures, and CD&A development.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Finance, HR, and external advisors on executive compensation matters.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve processes and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and administration of executive compensation programs including annual and long-term incentives.
• Partner with leaders to identify needs; conduct market research, analyses, and financial modeling for recommendations.
• Evaluate and enhance programs, governance, and processes to support business growth.
• Monitor compensation trends and regulatory/disclosure developments affecting pay.
• Prepare materials for Compensation & Talent Committee and senior leadership.
