Job summary

Snap is seeking a Compensation Program Manager in San Francisco to own end-to-end compensation cycles, including base, bonus, and equity, partnering with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and People Tech to design and rollout programs.

You will analyze market trends with Radford, Pave, and Compa, build executive-ready narratives, and create calculators and guides to support managers and employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of compensation experience at a technology company.
  • End-to-end ownership of compensation programs or planning cycles.
  • Experience as a compensation partner to senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS (Workday preferred).
  • Experience with market benchmarking tools (Radford, Pave, Compa).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience building executive-ready slides and narratives.
  • Strong PM skills across concurrent initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compensation norms outside the U.S.
  • Effective partnership management across HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and leaders.
  • Interest in applying AI tools to compensation workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with G&A compensation functions.
  • Preferred: equity administration platforms like Schwab EquiView.
  • Preferred: experience deploying AI-enabled HR/Compensation workflows.
  • Preferred: handling large datasets (BigQuery/SQL; Python a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end compensation planning cycles (base, bonus, equity).
  • Lead project plans, milestones, stakeholder comms, and audits.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and People Tech on plan changes and tools.
  • Project-manage AI-enabled compensation workflows rollout.
  • Build AI enablement resources and guides for the team.
  • Analyze market trends and inform program design and pay positioning.
  • Create calculators, FAQs, manager guides, and executive-ready decks.
  • Support equity program operations and employee-facing resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement in equity operations and employee experience.

Job description

  • Own end-to-end execution of Snap's compensation planning cycles covering base, bonus, and equity
  • Manage project plans, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, system readiness, and post-cycle audits
  • Lead compensation programs and projects from design through rollout
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and People Tech on plan changes and tool enhancements
  • Project-manage identification and rollout of AI-enabled compensation workflows
  • Build AI enablement resources to support team adoption
  • Analyze competitive cash, equity, and total rewards trends using Radford, Pave, and Compa
  • Inform program design, benchmarking, and pay positioning recommendations
  • Build and deliver calculators, FAQs, manager guides, and executive-ready presentations
  • Support equity-program operations through employee-facing FAQs and guides
  • Drive continuous improvement in equity operations and employee experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or another related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of compensation experience at a technology company
  • End-to-end ownership of compensation programs or planning cycles
  • Experience serving as a compensation business partner to client groups and/or senior leaders
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform; Workday strongly preferred
  • Experience with market benchmarking tools such as Radford, Pave, and Compa
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Polished written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience building and delivering executive-ready slides and narratives
  • Strong program/project management skills across concurrent, deadline-driven initiatives
  • Familiarity with compensation norms and labor market trends outside the U.S.
  • Effective partner management across HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders
  • Genuine interest in applying AI tools to compensation workflows
  • Preferred: experience supporting compensation for G&A functions
  • Preferred: experience with equity administration platforms such as Schwab EquiView or similar
  • Preferred: experience identifying, project-managing, or deploying AI-enabled HR or Compensation workflows
  • Preferred: experience with large datasets using BigQuery or SQL; Python familiarity a plus
