Job summary

The State of Colorado’s Department of Natural Resources offers a hybrid Human Resources Specialist III role within the Executive Director's Office. The position focuses on compensation, HR data analytics, HR information systems, and job classification support across divisions.

You will collaborate with the EDO and Division managers to tailor HR services and improve processes. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making, policy compliance, and cross‑functional teamwork in a dynamic state

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.
• A combination of related education and/or relevant experience equal to six (6) years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compensation analysis and develop compensation models.
• Analyze HR data and prepare reports for leadership.
• Evaluate positions for classification and communicate results.
• Process personnel actions per rules and procedures, including pay and leave.
• Lead or participate in special HR projects and initiatives.
