Job summary

Raising Cane's is seeking a Compensation Coordinator to support the BU and compensation teams with foundational data and administrative tasks. You will maintain documentation, prepare reports, and assist with base pay, incentives, one-time payments, and retirement programs including 401(k) and NQDC.

Your impact includes maintaining market data, tools, and Excel models; auditing compensation data; supporting relocation and other programs; and providing Level 1 support for compensation inquiries.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, building and maintaining models, handling large data sets.
  • Strong communication skills and cross‑team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, maintain documentation.
  • Interest in learning compensation processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support market data maintenance by updating job matches and preparing files for review.
  • Maintain compensation tools, including survey benchmarking and total rewards platforms.
  • Build and maintain Excel models and reports to support data‑driven decisions.
  • Audit compensation data, Workday profiles, and 401(k)/NQDC programs regularly for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support ongoing compensation programs (Relocation, First-Time Home Buyer, etc.).
  • Own Compensation inboxes and provide Level 1 support; route inquiries appropriately.
  • Assist with Workday entries and ad hoc compensation projects.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.

Job Description

The Compensation Coordinator supports the Restaurant Support/Business Unit (BU) and Restaurant Compensation teams by performing foundational data and administrative tasks, maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and assisting with recurring compensation processes. This role ensures data accuracy, organizes compensation workflows, and provides administrative support across base pay, incentives, one-time payments, and retirement programs, including 401(k) and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC).

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Support market data maintenance by updating job matches, organizing survey inputs, and preparing files for review
  • Maintain compensation tools, including the survey benchmarking platform and total rewards platform
  • Build and maintain Excel models and reports to support data‑driven decision-making
  • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits of Crewmember compensation data, Workday job profiles, and 401(k)/NQDC programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support ongoing compensation programs, including Relocation, First-Time Home Buyer, and other recurring processes
  • Own Compensation inboxes, provide Level 1 support, and route inquiries to the appropriate teams
  • Assist with Workday entries and support ad hoc compensation projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes

  • Experience in Compensation or Total Rewards
  • Experience utilizing AI to improve efficiency ****
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems; Workday preferred
