Job summary

IMA Financial Group seeks a Compensation Consulting Project Manager to lead compensation projects for diverse clients. You will plan, execute, and deliver initiatives such as market benchmarking, base design, and incentive programs while maintaining scope and budget.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years in compensation or HR consulting, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. This role offers growth in a nationally recognized consulting practice with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in compensation, human resources, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of compensation concepts, job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, incentive plan design, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple moderately complex to highly complex compensation consulting projects, ensuring completion within budget, scope, and timeline.
• Coordinate internal resources and manage client communications to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, scope changes, and project dependencies.
• Track project hours and billing on a weekly basis while monitoring project costs against budget.
• Facilitate regular meetings with project teams and client stakeholders, providing status updates and ensuring alignment.
• Oversee quality assurance of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Participate in business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand existing client engagements and attract new clients.
