Job summary

Saxon Global in Chicago seeks a Senior Compensation Consultant to provide strategic compensation consulting and advisory services to clients. You will partner with senior management to develop compensation strategies, address attraction and retention needs, and deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, strong client relationships, leadership, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting or related HR advisory roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation technology and market analysis methodologies.
  • Strong client relationship management with senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams.
  • Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs that address clients' attraction and retention needs.
  • Advise senior management on compensation issues, including: Pay strategy, structure, and competitiveness.
  • Digital activation of compensation designs and AI-enabled tools.
  • Embrace AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance compensation solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Generate revenue by developing new client relationships, expanding existing engagements, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
