Work Arrangement: Hybrid


We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Consultant to provide strategic compensation expertise and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including established organizations and complex global enterprises.


In this role, you will lead high-impact compensation projects, advise senior executives and organizational leaders, and develop innovative solutions that support talent attraction, retention, and overall business performance. You will leverage compensation data, market insights, analytics, and emerging technologies to address complex client challenges and deliver practical, actionable recommendations.


The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical consultant with deep compensation expertise, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to confidently advise senior stakeholders. A demonstrated interest in AI, technology-enabled solutions, and innovation in compensation is highly valued.


Key Responsibilities

Compensation Consulting amp; Strategy


  • Lead and oversee complex compensation consulting engagements from analysis through implementation.

  • Review, interpret, and guide analyses prepared by project teams to ensure accuracy and high-quality client deliverables.

  • Develop customized compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs aligned with clients’ business and talent objectives.

  • Advise senior executives and management teams on compensation strategy, program design, and market competitiveness.

  • Provide expertise in areas including:

    • Pay strategy and compensation structures.

    • Market competitiveness and benchmarking.

    • Job architecture and job leveling.

    • Compensation program design and implementation.

    • Incentive plan design.

    • Technology-enabled compensation solutions.



  • Analyze compensation practices, market data, and organizational needs to develop practical and sustainable recommendations.

  • Stay current on emerging compensation trends, technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices.


Client Relationship Management


  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and workforce challenges.

  • Manage day-to-day client communications and ensure projects remain aligned with expectations, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Present complex compensation concepts, analyses, and recommendations clearly to senior-level audiences.


Leadership amp; Team Development


  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior consultants and project team members.

  • Review work products and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across client deliverables.

  • Coach and support team members in developing their consulting, analytical, and client-management capabilities.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.


Business Development amp; Innovation


  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new business.

  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, and business development initiatives.

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and support broader client growth strategies.

  • Develop innovative compensation solutions and thought leadership that address evolving workforce and compensation challenges.

  • Leverage AI, analytics, and technology-enabled tools to improve consulting solutions, analysis, and client outcomes.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of professional experience in compensation consulting, compensation management, or a related HR advisory field.

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in compensation strategy and program design.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements simultaneously.

  • Deep knowledge of:

    • Compensation strategy and program design.

    • Incentive plan design.

    • Compensation technology and management systems.

    • Market analysis, benchmarking, and survey methodologies.

    • Job architecture and job leveling.

    • Compensation-related regulatory and compliance requirements.



  • Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and organizational leaders.

  • Strong client relationship management and consulting skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop less-experienced team members.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience leading compensation engagements for global or multinational organizations with complex compensation challenges.

  • Demonstrated success contributing to or leading business development and client growth initiatives.

  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with compensation management, benchmarking, or survey tools.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled compensation tools, platforms, and solutions.

  • Experience developing innovative compensation strategies and industry thought leadership.

  • Ability to identify emerging compensation trends and translate them into practical business recommendations.
