Job summary

HR On Demand is partnering with a global PC hardware and gaming peripherals manufacturer to hire a Compensation and Benefits Manager for the Katy, TX facility. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, with leadership exposure.
  • Knowledge of compensation methodologies and benefits design.
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, FLSA and related regulations.
  • Experience in HRIS modules (Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design base pay structures, salary bands, and job leveling/architecture; conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to keep pay competitive
  • Lead annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonus/incentive programs) and support pay equity analysis and remediation
  • Manage benefits programs — medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) — including vendor/broker relationships, renewals, and open enrollment
  • Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, STD/LTD) and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, FLSA, and other federal and Texas state regulations, including required filings and reporting (e.g., Form 5500, ACA reporting)
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to prepare reports, dashboards, and cost/budget forecasts for HR and Finance leadership
  • Maintain compensation and benefits modules within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on offer recommendations, job pricing, and new-hire compensation decisions
  • Communicate total rewards programs clearly to employees and support manager/employee questions on pay and benefits

We're posting this role on behalf of our client, a globally recognized manufacturer of PC hardware and gaming peripherals, best known for computer cooling solutions, as well as PC cases, power supplies, keyboards, mice, and other gaming and enthusiast‑PC accessories.

Role Overview

The Compensation and Benefits Manager will lead the design, administration, and compliance of total rewards programs at the Katy, TX, facility. This role owns compensation structure and job leveling, benefits plan design and administration, and regulatory compliance, partnering closely with HR leadership, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to ensure payment and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and sustainable as the business grows.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical compensation and benefits expertise with the judgment to translate data into recommendations leadership can act on, and is comfortable operating within a global, multinational manufacturing organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, including experience leading programs independently or in a managerial capacity
  • Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies (market pricing, job evaluation, salary structure design) and benefits plan design
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, FLSA, and other relevant federal and state compensation/benefits regulations
  • Experience managing compensation and benefits modules in an HRIS (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong analytical and Excel/data modeling skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex pay and benefits topics clearly to employees and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) and/or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) certification
  • Experience in a global or multinational manufacturing/consumer electronics organization
  • Experience negotiating with benefits brokers and vendors
  • Experience supporting global mobility or expatriate compensation/benefits
