Job summary

HDR is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support market studies, survey participation, and compensation planning. You will collaborate with the Sr Compensation Administrator and ensure accurate pricing in Payfactors, while handling wage administration and equity analyses.

The role requires strong Excel/Office skills, confidentiality, and the ability to communicate with all levels of staff in an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of compensation experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong Excel skills using formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and participate in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market studies as requested by HR, recruiters and/or managers.

In the role of Compensation Analyst, we'll count on you to:
  • Conduct market studies as requested by HR, recruiters and/or managers
  • Manage the participation of all salary and benefits surveys
  • Partners with the Sr Compensation Administrator in all aspects of HDR salary and incentive planning processes
  • Maintain Payfactors market pricing system by ensuring upload of salary survey results and updating employee data
  • Manage the HR portion of the prevailing wage administration
  • Prepare quarterly compensation reports for internal Board members
  • Update geographic differential report quarterly for recruiters and HR reps
  • Complete the market pricing portion of annual FAR auditWork with internal compliance, accounting staff and external auditors as needed
  • Manages the annual Straight-Time Overtime Exemption Audit
  • Responsible for the Equal Pay audits for Canada
  • Provide compensation-related information for the annual Total Compensation Statements
  • Assists the Diversity and Inclusion team with the annual pay equity testing analysis
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Intermediate PowerBI skills or the willingness to learn
    Required Qualifications

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
    • Strong Excel skills using formulas, functions & pivot tables
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations affecting compensation

    • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
