You will work with the Compensation Manager and HR to evaluate compensation for current employees, new acquisitions, and future hires, ensuring market-aligned pay practices as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in compensation or an HR role with an analytical focus.
• Strong Excel skills, pivot tables, lookups, and working with large datasets.
• Experience with salary surveys or compensation market data.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to investigate data discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate with HR partners and business leaders.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential compensation information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze salary data and benchmark positions against survey data to support offers and pay adjustments.
• Review compensation across existing teams and newly acquired businesses to identify differences and support alignment.
• Support short-term incentive programs through eligibility reviews, data collection, calculations, audits, and payout file preparation.
• Maintain and update salary structures, pay scales, and pay bands.
• Assist with job evaluations, grade recommendations, and the organization of job titles, families, and levels.
• Prepare, validate, and submit salary survey data and review survey results for accuracy.
• Create compensation reports and respond to ad hoc analysis requests, handling sensitive information discreetly.

Location: Irving, TX, Gilbert, AZ, Westminster, CO, or Cedar Rapids, IA | Hybrid, four days onsite per week

Employment Type: 6 month W2 contract

Pay: Up to $40/hour, W2

Working closely with the Compensation Manager and HR team, you will help evaluate compensation for current employees, newly acquired businesses, and future hires. Your work will support market-aligned pay practices as the organization grows.

What You’ll Do
