Job summary

Hunt is seeking a Compensation Analyst to collaborate directly with HR teams in Maplewood, MN, overseeing compensation processes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Compensation Analyst

Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  • Partner with U.S. Plant HR on production compensation, including external benchmarking and annual increase planning and implementation.
  • Support Workday compensation processes to ensure accurate administration, operational efficiency, alignment with compensation programs, and response to HR Help tickets.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. compensation‑related legislation by conducting audits, monitoring regulatory developments, and initiating action plans as needed. Create and maintain policies in collaboration with legal and cross‑functional partners.
  • Lead the creation of compensation communications, 3M Go content, and training materials. Ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives while leveraging AI to enhance content development, streamline delivery, and improve the overall employee learning experience.
  • Provide consultation and support on key compensation processes and critical initiatives while driving process improvement efforts in collaboration with internal partners across HR, IT and Legal.
Skills and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Five (5) years of cross‑functional HR experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Two (2) years of global compensation experience in a private, public, government or military environment (additional qualification).
  • Knowledge of and experience with compensation programs and processes.
  • Solid project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
Eligibility and Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B).
  • Must be able to work on site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, at least four days a week.
  • May need up to 10% domestic travel.
  • Relocation assistance not authorized.
