IT Lead Analyst for Data Conversion Services

As an IT Lead Analyst DCS, you will collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world to drive data conversion strategy and execution for system implementations or upgrades.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Leading and supporting data conversion strategy and execution for system implementations or upgrades
• Analyzing source and target data structures, mappings, and transformation requirements
• Coordinating with business, IT, and vendor teams to define conversion rules and validate outcomes
• Managing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load activities
• Identifying data quality issues and driving remediation efforts
• Overseeing testing activities, including mock conversions, reconciliation, and validation
• Monitoring project timelines, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution related to conversion work
• Documenting mapping specifications, conversion logic, and process controls
• Supporting cutover planning and post-go-live data stabilization
• Ensuring compliance with governance, security, and data management standards

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or technology field
• Five years of Data Conversion Services experience in large scale projects in a private, public, government or military environment

Work Location

3M HQ Maplewood, Minnesota. This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

Compensation

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
