Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Compensation professional to develop and administer compensation programs. The role collaborates with managers to craft job descriptions reflecting actual duties and responsibilities.

The position involves surveying salaries, benchmarking against market data, and managing merit reviews. Hybrid schedule with 1–2 remote days per week, full-time hours, and travel to office sites as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • CCP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job evaluation and job description development; prepares and maintains job descriptions reflecting work performed by incumbents.
  • Participates in salary surveys and monitors data to meet compensation objectives.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges.
  • Manages yearly merit review process.
  • Assists Benefits team in the Annual Open Enrollment process.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge through education, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
  • Identify, facilitate and participate in staff trainings and workshops.
  • Performs other related duties; travel to office sites required.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job evaluation and job description development. Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
  • Participates in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure organizational compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Manages yearly merit review process
  • Assists Benefits team in the Annual Open Enrollment process
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining networks and participating in professional organizations.
  • Identify, facilitate and participate in relevant staff trainings and workshops.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Travel to office sites required.

Compensation: $65,000-75,000 based on experience and education.

Hours: This is a full-time position. 8:30am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. Hybrid schedule 1-2 remote per week.
