Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Knowledge of legal principles, research techniques, terminology, and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned claims per firm policies.
• Ensure CMS feed is cleared daily.
• Meet deadlines for tasks.
• Document activity in CMS accurately.
• Clear emails daily.
• Monthly MCCs and primary client contact on claim management.
• Communicate with adjusters, providers, and others as directed.
• Meet with attorney monthly to review claims.
• Assist with litigation issues.
• Train other claims specialists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
