Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six months of workers’ compensation claims experience or related claims experience
• Thorough knowledge of legal principles, legal research techniques, and regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Process assigned claims per firm policies
• Maintain CMS feed and document all activity in CMS
• Communicate with insurance adjusters and providers
• Meet with attorney monthly to review claims and assist with litigation issues
• Train junior staff as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned
