Lifecare Medical Services Inc in Akron seeks wheelchair van drivers for full-time and part-time roles. You will transport patients to medical appointments and treatments in ambulettes, ensuring safety and comfort and adhering to company policies.

The role requires operating ambulettes safely, keeping logs, maintaining the vehicle, and providing basic life support when needed. A valid state license is required and attendance at staff meetings is expected.

Formación

• Must have a current and valid state driver’s license.
• Must provide safe and efficient transport of patients as scheduled.
• Ability to perform basic life support or CPR in emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe and efficient transport of patients in the ambulette as scheduled by dispatch.
• Operate/drive ambulette following driving standards and safety practices.
• Record transportation logs and collect patient documentation as required.
• Maintain ambulette and report needed repairs to maintenance.
• Comply with FCC regulations and company policy when using communications equipment.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed from purchasing.
• Perform general safety checks (fluids, tires, horn, fuel).
• Clean and maintain ambulette interior and exterior; refuel as needed.
• Provide basic life support—first aid or CPR in emergencies.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings; hold a current state driver’s license.
