Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking a Wellness and Intake Coordinator to be the compassionate first voice for families in Havertown and Chadds Ford. You will handle intake calls, schedule visits, and assess senior needs while supervising caregivers to ensure safety and satisfaction.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced field, with regular travel across the Greater Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or Nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum five years of experience preferred.
• Dementia care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must maintain an annual TB test.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake calls and schedule/ conduct preliminary home visits.
• Perform ongoing assessments of senior clients and supervise caregivers.
• Update care plans and ensure safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction.
• Conduct in-home supervisory visits every 30 and 60 days.
• Travel regularly within service areas of Havertown/Chadds Ford.
