Strong teamwork and a genuine love for animals are essential. Responsibilities include monitoring hospitalized pets, stocking supplies, and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must be a self-starter, able to multitask and a team player.
• Prefer 1+ years of experience, but not required.
• Ability to meet physical demands: lift up to 40 lbs and restrain animals.
• Walks or stands for extended periods and may work in bent/squatting positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and treatment as part of the veterinary team.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and aid in post-surgery care.
• Maintain inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims as needed.
• Assist with diagnostic tests like radiographs and bloodwork.
• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/equipment.
• Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, and exam areas.
• Administer medications under supervision of Veterinarian/Vet Tech.
• Assist with feeding/bathing animals and client communication.
