PetVet Care Centers' Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising, and grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining animals, and handling clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year experience as a veterinary assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and their owners and guide them to an examining room.
• Take weight and vital signs on arrival.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs as directed.
• Maintain and sanitize hospital equipment and facilities.
• Record medical information accurately and ensure proper documentation.
