Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related experience helpful.
• Experience: Vet medicine, animal care, customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or environmental services is helpful but not required.
• Hospital Support: Willingness to perform cleaning, laundry, restocking, and facility-support duties.
• Judgment & Adaptability: Prioritize tasks, adjust to changing workflow, stay calm, seek direction when unsure.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication and customer-service skills with clients and team.
• Technology & Learning: Able to learn hospital software, phone systems, payments, animal-handling, and safety protocols.
• Availability: Varied schedule including opening/closing and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Cleanliness, Safety, and Readiness: clean, disinfect, restock, and report hazards.
• Patient Care and Veterinary Team Support: assist with safe patient handling and preparation for procedures.
• Client Communication and Service: greet clients, answer calls, assist with checkout and scheduling.
• Teamwork and Hospital Flow: rotate between areas and communicate task status and needs.
• Professional Development: maintain competencies and participate in team training.
