VetCheck in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to be the first contact for clients and patients in our urgent care setting. You will ensure a compassionate experience while supporting the medical team with efficient communications and records.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary client service experience is required.
• Urgent care or emergency vet experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and compassionate in emotionally challenging situations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with veterinary software, scheduling systems and payment processing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism, compassion and empathy.
• Answer calls, emails, and appointment requests.
• Gather patient information and assist with urgent care triage.
• Recognize emergencies and alert medical staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff.
• Explain services, treatment plans, policies and financial expectations.
• Process payments and third-party financing applications.
• Schedule appointments and assist with follow-up communication.
• Support administrative tasks and inventory needs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming client environment.
• Assist teammates and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
