Job summary

Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital in Norwich, CT, is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our Primary Care team. The role focuses on wellness, surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia, with EzyVet experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior Veterinary Technician experience required.
• Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus.
• CVT license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comfortable with all aspects of general practice, including anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring, drug calculations and protocols, dentistry, and surgery.
• Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests.
• Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
