Job summary

Seacrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Van Driver on a per diem basis. The role involves safely transporting residents to medical appointments and other approved destinations, while assisting them in and out of vehicles.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and have at least 1 year of patient transport experience. A clean driving record and ability to interact compassionately with residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience transporting patients to appointments.
• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and approved destinations.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational vehicle per safety standards.
• Follow traffic laws and facility transportation policies.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
