Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) to support residents in Alabama by safely transporting them to and from medical appointments and staying with them during visits. You will sign in residents, present documents, and ensure smooth workflows at the facility.

Requirements include a valid state driver’s license, a CNA certification, and clean driving and criminal records.

Qualifications

• Physically able to transfer residents between wheelchair and vehicle.
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).
• Clean driving and criminal records.
• State-required certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assure resident safety during transport to and from medical visits.
• Accompany residents to appointments and stay with them until visits finish.
• Sign in residents and present documents at the office.
• Obtain new prescriptions and verify doctor orders as needed.
• Report outcomes to the facility upon return.
